Shag Rock

This site is usually only dived when the other sites listed are inaccessible due to bad weather.

Some divers really like it but personally I think you can swim through a small cave a certain number of times before you become a performing Seal jumping through Hula hoops.

Don't get me wrong if you venture around this site there is an abundance of macro photography subjects around the problem is everyone wants to do the swim through (yawn).

If you do find yourself diving here look for the rubble and search around you will find plenty of Moray Eels, Hermit Crabs, Anemone Fish, Octopus, Nudibranchs and a variety of shrimp. If you don't see a Wobbegong shark you need glasses.

The average visibility is 10-15m and depth to about 18m if you get lost. Best time to dive is when other sites aren't accessible.
